From 2008 to 2014, the Belgian State conducted an extensive investigation into the autonomous struggles against the detention centers, borders, prisons and the world based on the authority and exploitation.

Raids, microphones, cameras in front and inside of homes, observations, wiretapping, infiltration ... After years of investigation, the State now seeks to label as "terrorists" 12 accused. This repressive operation targets any individual who, in his fight against this world chooses the means of self-organization, direct action and  hostility against all authorities. This trial is a repressive blow against any anti-authoritarian struggle. In a context of growing repression against all undesirables and rebels, both at frontiers and in neighborhoods, at the workplace and in prisons, the analysis of repression, the continuation of autonomous struggles and the practice of solidarity are our means to confront the suffocating world we live in.

The talk will be about the struggles which concern this operation (the struggle against the deportation centre of Steenokkerzeel among other ones), the context of repression in Brussels and perspectives of solidarity.

Over het komende proces tegen anarchisten en anti-autoritairen in België

Eind 2008, in volle periode van verspreide vijandelijkheden ontketend door de revolte in Griekenland nadat Alexis er door de politie vermoord werd, opent het Federaal Parket een onderzoek naar anarchisten en anti-autoritairen in België. In 2010, op basis van een lijst acties die de politie toeschrijft aan de “anarchistische beweging” en terwijl de strijd tegen de bouw van een nieuw gesloten centrum in Steenokkerzeel zich een weg baant, wordt een onderzoeksrechter, Isabelle Panou, aangesteld. Het onderzoek valt vanaf dan onder anti-terrorisme. In mei en vervolgens in september 2013 vinden een tiental huiszoekingen plaats in het kader van dit onderzoek, ondermeer in de anarchistische bibliotheek Acrata in Brussel. Het is pas dan dat voor het eerst iets vernomen wordt over het lopende anti-terroristische onderzoek. Uit het dossier zal blijken dat niet alleen de gerechtelijke Federale politie erbij betrokken is, maar ook de Staatsveiligheid, de Militaire Inlichtingendienst en verschillende anti-terroristische diensten van andere Europese landen. In 2014 wordt het dossier afgesloten, twaalf anarchisten en anti-autoritairen worden vandaag doorverwezen naar de Raadkamer. [...]"
