Er komt een grote verjaardagsweekend aan! Er is niet alleen de grote Heumensooord reunion, maar ook de verjaardag van justPeople. Een jaar vol can diversiteit en wederzijdse hulp. Heumensoord was de motivatie om de groep te vormen en ze bestaat nog steeds! Nu, een jaar later, is er een nieuwe ontmoetingsplek, Gezellig Nijmegen (Ganzenheuvel 56, Nijmegen)- super dat de veele initatieven, vrijwilligers en mensen dit bereikt hebben!
Op zaterday gaan we een filmpje kijken en taart eten in Gezellig. En s'avonds wordt er verder geviert in de De Onderbroek. Iedereen is welkom, we kijken erna uit je te zien!

All donations go to a good cause.There will be a donation jar for people fighting repression of anti-fascists activists, like they do in Den Haag on the same day!

Sometimes when you google your own name, you get odd things. When one of us googled “Just People” she found something surprising. There seemed to be a Dutch filmmaker, Annegriet Wietsma, who made a movie about “challenges and complexities of being an independent individual while cooperating in a social group - how not to be a bystander, how to dare to stand out from the crowd.” And when she finished it, she called it "Just People". Rather than looking back, the movie argues, you should look for responsibilities in the present.

Since our collective exists for a year now, we thought it might be a cool idea to screen the movie and together with you think about precisely this question: How not to be a bystander?

It has been a moving year and now time for a birthday party to celebrate all of it! Saturday the 19th of november we have the chance again to fill De Onderbroek with good vibes. Hands, music, decoration, birthday cakes and goodvibes are all very welcome.

We will do an open mic, open decks, open stage, open youtube, so input is very welcome. If you need more than a mic, let us know. We have CDJ's and a mixer, so bring CD's if you want to mix.
